We set off from the marina at about 5 o clock on Friday evening. It felt really strange Scully not being with us and I was a bit worried about how Molly would be on the boat.
She soon made herself at home on Greg's lap watching everything go by.
Just going past Ansty Golf Course was a little black rabbit......Molly nearly fell off the top of the boat trying to see where it was hopping to. We moored up early for the evening and Greg took Molly for a nice long walk hoping to wear her out.
Saturday Morning........
At 4.45 in the morning before even the blackbirds were up she was awake and playing with the squeakiest toy she had...she jumped up on the bed and decided it was play time . It was cold and drizzling with rain...I think we had been spoilt- Scully never got up before 9!! After 3 cups of coffee we set off at 7 hoping to get near Braunston.
It didn't take her long to get her confidence and thought she'd be clever and sit at the front of the boat.
Five minutes peace at last!!
I was surprised to see how many boats were out and we soon found ourselves behind a boat that was training its crew....and they were not going any where fast!
Newbold tunnel.
I thought we'd change boats...
We moored up opposite a field of cows who were all very intrigued as to why Greg was dangling his feet in the water. As it started to cool off the swallows were landing on the fence by the field.
I hope Molly sleeps tonight.....
Happy Days.
