We finally left the marina at 2pm and chugged towards Hawkesbury Junction where luckily the lock had been fixed as it had been out of action for a few days last week. We went past Hawkesbury sub station where they are doing lots of work to replace the high tension power cables.
We were just heading towards Nuneaton when we passed a boat which had engine trouble-Greg offered to tow him...by reversing back. He can never do anything the easy way!!!!
There's always something different to look at, at Charity Dock. The mannequins look like they're going to a 60's party.
We moored up just past Hartshill on the corner where Boudicca is said to have had her last battle....hopefully we won't hear the sound of hooves tonight!
