In the field opposite were two foxes..
As we were watching them they were joined in the middle of the field by another two.
In the end there were six of them -five of them young ones, running and playing in the early morning sun.
We set off about 9ish and headed down Napton Locks. We were quite lucky today, as when a boat came out of the lock another was ready to go in so we got down to the bottom in no time. I don't know wether everyone had the Monday morning blues today but everyone we met looked really miserable.
The lock keepers were busy repainting the locks.
As we went through Braunston we saw this boat which had burnt out ..hopefully no-one was hurt. We carried on and eventually moored up near Brinklow for the night. We ll get home tomorrow lunchtime- I know Greg can't wait to get back and mow the lawn!!!
Happy days
