Bath.

We left Bradford -On Avon and headed towards Avoncliff and the Dundas Aquaduct. I was really surprised at some of the boats we saw along the way...one of them had a pump running all the time and the bottom of the boat was wrapped in a blue tarpaulin. How it was still afloat I don't know!!

Even the ducks had taken up residence on this paddleboard.

The grass is always greener on the other side of a barbed wire fence!

The sides were so high on the Aquaduct that Greg had to stand on top of the boat to  take some pictures.

We then went through Claverton and onto Bathhampton.

All along the River are sculptures made from metal.

It certainly looked black behind us.

Disaster struck just before the first lock at Bath.....I thought it would be nice for Scully to walk down to the lock with me......this poor man had just opened a packet of Tuna sandwiches.....
Don't be fooled by that innocent look !

We went through 2 short tunnels in bath which were lovely.

At the next lock there was a very cheeky seagull who had figured out that when the water went down in the lock...the little fish were left on the sill. Talk about fast food.

Locks 9 and 8 were put together when they changed all the roads...it is now one big lock that drops down 19 feet. Not my favourite lock.

At the top was a bike telling you all about a gin emporium with free tasting...I think we're calling in on the way back.
Going out of Bath wasn't as nice as coming in.

We found a nice mooring against the bank-tied to a tree.

Happy days.
