The great October Escape.....

We finally left the marina at about 4 o clock and headed towards Rugby...It had actually stopped raining!!
We moored up near All Oaks right next to 2 owls who spent the evening hooting at each other.

'Erbs 'elp urself-at Hillmorton Locks .They are repairing the locks at Hillmorton but luckily 1 set was open.
Playing around with different settings on the camera. I found I can choose selective colours on the pictures.

We didn't set off from Barby until 11 because of the rain and stopped quite early. I was hoping the clouds would clear because of the Hunters moon that was due to appear....and they did!

Early start today-We headed through Napton Locks trying to beat the rain. The rain held off until lunchtime when it poured down. We carried on towards Fenny Compton and found a lovely place to moor for the night.

The Buffalos didn't want to pose today.
                                                       Happy Days
