Smelly beginnings!

We awoke this morning to the wonderful aroma of 'Eau de Countryside- yes the farmer was muckspreading in the field right next to the boat so we hastily took off at the impressive speed of 4 miles an hour.  At Armitage we passed by the Shanks factory where they make toilets and cisterns.
As we went round the corner I thought you'd come to meet us Carolyn..... and Rose and Gin seemed like the perfect boat for you!

We passed by Hawksyard hall which looks absolutely beautiful.....
I love to see this bird of prey...he's usually sitting outside, watching the world go by.
How amazing would this bath be in your garden...fill it with cushions and settle down with a good book. (Next job on Gregs list).
While we stopped in Rugeley we saw the first ducklings this year....how gorgeous are they-There were 7 in total with just 1 little yellow one

You'd certainly need to be fit to work on these gardens as you head out of Rugeley...

Not a place to hang around me thinks.....

Just going over Brindley Bank Aquaduct, which goes over the River Trent.
Shugbourgh Hall

                                                        Happy days !
